No Litters Planned

In the meantime, I am focused on training with Eric Salas Workshops.

Interested in finding a puppy?

RRCUS (the national club) allows members to be listed in their breeder directory for a yearly fee after three years of membership. Here is the RRCUS Breeder Directory, where breeders are listed by state. The Colorado Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (CRRC) also offers its members a Breeder Directory. Both clubs require breeders to comply with the Code of Ethics for the club.

You will also find breeders and owners at your local conformation dog shows. A popular show superintendent in Colorado is Onofrio. Plan ahead by looking at Upcoming shows. By clicking on Closed shows, you will find the premium list with detailed information for the show and a judging schedule by breed about ten days before the show date.

What is living with a ridgeback really like?

The RRCUS and CRRC websites provide valuable information about living with a Rhodesian ridgeback dog. To learn even more, join each club’s Facebook group. On Facebook, search:

Katie/Tater Litter April 2020

Katie whelped eight puppies on April 15, 2020 - 4 males and 4 females, all ridged. Sired by Diane Jacobsen’s “Tater” (Calico Ridge Bodega Redd) the majority of these puppies were placed in the California Bay Area. This litter provided my introduction to the Puppy Culture protocol for raising puppies and turned my attention and intention towards the goal of becoming an RRCUS breeder in the future. Thank you to Rosalind Cich of Brondiki for providing endless hours of mentorship as well as to Diane Jacobsen of Calico Ridge and Deborah Cooper of Maijani.
